Pakistan’s Foreign Minister, Shah Mahmood Qureshi, has departed for an official visit to China on August 20. During his stay in Beijing he will meet his Chinese counterpart, Wang Yi.
This will be the second visit of the Foreign Minister to China after the outbreak of COVID-19 that hit Pakistan in February.
"I am leaving for a brief one day visit to China, on a very important visit,” the Foreign Minister disclosed in a television interview prior to his departure.
He informed that he also had a meeting regarding his visit to China with Prime Minister Imran Khan recently.
“The composition of my delegation reflects the thinking of Pakistan's political and military leadership. My meeting with Foreign Minister Wang Yi will be beneficial for both the countries,” Shah Mahmood Qureshi reckoned.
