Railways’ Multan division to hold safety workshop, seminar every week

The Pakistan Railways Multan Division has mobilized its resources for safe train operation, instructions for strict implementation of rules under for possible prevention of accidents by holding weekly safety seminars and workshops. 

According to details, the Superintendent of the Pakistan Railways, Multan Division, Shoaib Adil, has decided to hold safety seminar and workshop once a week while simultaneously tracking officers and employees of all concerned departments. Instructions have also been issued for strict implementation of all laws including inspection.

In this regard, DS Multan Division has stressed that railway train drivers have a huge responsibility while traveling as they travel with thousands of precious lives. 

He has emphasized that special attention should be paid to these level crossings while the rules should be strictly followed and attention should be paid to safety. 

“Now there is no room for error. God forbid, whenever there is an accident somewhere, it becomes difficult to respond. Our job is related to the railways. We should do our duty honestly,” he urged. 

On the other hand, on the instructions of Divisional Superintendent Multan, the Divisional Engineer One has started inspection of the track while at the same time steps are being taken for in-level crossing of DS Railway.
