Imran Khan to address WEF on May 20

Prime Minister Imran Khan will be addressing an emergency meeting of the World Economic Forum (WEF) via video link on May 20.

The Prime Minister, in his address, is expected to inform the forum about steps taken by Pakistan to curb the spread of novel coronavirus. 

He will be laying emphasis on Coronavirus (COVID-19) and its impact on human lives as well as its economy. 

It may be recalled that in recent past the world community had lauded and gave positive response to Prime Minister’s humanity and environment friendly philosophy. 

The WEF meeting will be attended by leaders from the world over, who will be sharing their views on the pandemic and its effects on world. 

The World Economic Forum (WEF), founded in 1971 and headquartered at Geneva, Switzerland, is a global organization for Public-Private Cooperation which engages the foremost political, business, cultural and other leaders of society to shape global, regional and industry agendas.
