The 30th edition of the Paramount Book Fair, being organized at the head office of Paramount Books (Private) Limited, housed in Block 2 of PECHS, is booming and there is day long buzz and excitement which continues until late in evening.

The 30th edition of the Paramount Book Fair 2018 got underway with its usual attractions on September 1 and it continues to be the talk of the town. Heavier turnout is on the cards again on the upcoming weekend before the annual event will be winding up on September 9.
Even on the weekdays, there are plenty of celebrations and competitions in the mornings and evenings for the students in particular who come along with their teachers in groups or they also visit in the company of their parents.

The Paramount Book Fair was founded by Iqbal Saleh Muhammad, the doyen of bookselling and publishing in Pakistan, three decades ago.
The idea was facilitate the bookworms in a big way and it proved an instant success, leading to its further expansion over the years.
