The Canadian Business Council (CBC) will be supporting the Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition & Conference (ADIPEC) 2019, scheduled to be held from November 11 to 14.
The CBC Abu Dhabi has been engaged in promoting business relations, commerce and investment between Canada and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) with a particular focus on the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.
The ADIPEC conferences and technical sessions are acclaimed as the place to hone knowledge and share best practice with industry peers.
Spanning upstream, midstream and downstream oil and gas, the conference sessions have been created by a committee of industry experts.
The ADIPEC hosts one of the world’s biggest technical conferences with 111 technical sessions, attracting more than 10,000 delegates.
The ADIPEC technical programme committee convened last month to discuss the abstract submission process, key topics shaping the industry and the technical programme for the ADIPEC 2019 Technical Conference.
Organised by the Society of Petroleum Engineers, this year's edition of the technical conference is expected to receive over 2,800 abstracts before the final submission deadline on April 10.
The abstract submissions are reviewed by over 160 members of the technical programme committee, based on their experience and expertise across the 14 technical categories, undergoing a thorough vetting process with leading names across the oil and gas sector.
The ADIPEC is also considered a testament to the rising demand for knowledge in the Middle East, Africa and Asian sub-continent in the fast-changing energy world.
