The Shia Ulema Council, the Hindu Punchayat and the Pakhtoon Welfare Society organized separate rallies in Nawabshah to celebrate the downing of India warplanes by the Pakistan Air Force (PAF).
The rally participants chanted slogans against what they described as the hostile actions by the Indian government while the Pakhtoon youth danced on their cultural tunes.
The Shia Ulema Council took out rally from Imam Bargah Murtazvi while the Hindu Panchayat rally was led by Manoj Kumar who was critical of the policies of the present Indian rulers whom he accused of pursuing extremism and bringing Hindu religion to disrepute.
