PN Central Library celebrates Independence Day

The Pakistan Navy Central Library (PNCL), an acclaimed public library of Karachi, continued its tradition of having celebrated Pakistan’s Independence Day with the usual passion and warmth. 

The library was decorated with balloons, flags and buntings in the colours of green and white which made the surroundings graceful.

The colourful posters and standis also highlighted the significance of Independence Day.

The library gifted bangles and badges to the members besides having served refreshment to celebrate this occasion. 

Prominent among those having attended the ceremony were Cdre Ihsan Qadir (R), Cdre S N Faisal (DG PMM), Cdre S Zakir (R), Lt. Cdr. S A Zaidi (R), Director PNCL, and Capt Irfan (R). 

Huma Mannan Butt, Chief Librarian, PNCL, and Afshan Khan, Research Librarian, welcomed the dignitaries and guests.
