The Allied Panel has swept the elections of the Association of Builders and Developers (ABAD) having secured a heavy mandate.
The representatives of two rival panels, Allied and Progressive, contested for the six seats of Central Executive Committee (CEC) and six seats of Regional Executive Committee (REC) in the elections for 2013-14, held at the ABAD House in Karachi.
Allied Panel’s Mohsin Sheikhani, Saleem Qasim Patel, Mohammad Hanif Ghohar, Fayyaz Ilyas, Mohammad Haneef Memon, and Syed Afzal Hameed were elected as the CEC members while Hasan Bakhshi, Zeeshan Siddiqui, Rameez Qasim Ghaziani, Muhammad Ayub and Imran Fazlani were elected as the REC members.
The ABAD is a national level representative organization of builders and developers, registered under the Companies Ordinance, 1984, and affiliated with the Federation of Pakistan Chamber of commerce and Industry (FPCCI). It was formed in the year 1972 with the aim and objective of unifying and streamlining the construction activities of private sector.
