In an apparent effort to cool down tension on Line of Actual Control, the defence ministers of India and China are expected to hold talks in Moscow on later September 4, according to reports coming from New Delhi quoting government officials.

This will be the first highest level face-to-face political contact since tensions flared along their disputed mountain border in May.

The Indian Defence Minister, Rajnath Singh, was given clearance to meet his Chinese counterpart, Wei Fenghe, in Moscow, where both of them were attending a Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) meeting, the report added.
