Ambassador Naghmana Hashmi lauded

The former Ambassador to China, Naghmana Hashmi, called on Foreign Minister, Makhdoom Shah Mahmud Qureshi, and matters pertaining to the Pakistan-China relationship in particular, besides other things, came under discussion. 

The Foreign Minister lauded Naghmana Hashim's role as an Ambassador, it was acknowledged through social media account on August 12. 

Shah Mahmood Qureshi reiterated that the present leadership of Pakistan and China was committed to further strengthen the exemplary relations. 

He appreciated the manner in which China had provided assistance and shared experience with many countries including Pakistan in combating COVID-19 pandemic. 

He reaffirmed that both sides were working hard for early execution of projects under second phase of the China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC). 

Extending good wishes to the retiring Ambassador Naghmana Hashmi, he said that his ministry would continue to benefit from experiences of such diplomats while formulating foreign policy on modern lines. 

Ambassador Naghmana Hashmi, having retired after long stint in foreign service, reciprocated by thanking Shah Mahmood Qureshi for his courtesy.
