Pervez Iqbal's appointment as ICWFD Chief Programme Coordinator hailed

The appointment of Pervez Iqbal, a respected name in the fields of marketing, advertising and social work including community investment strategies, as the Chief Programme Coordinator of the International Commission on Workforce Development (ICWFD), a non-profit public foundation based in San Francisco, California, USA, has been hailed. His appointment was made recently after a due diligence process to further ICWFD’s mission in Pakistan.

Pervez Iqbal, who is also the Chief Executive Officer of the Big Bang Communications Limited (BBCL), has a proven track record in diversified fields in an illustrious career spanning more than three decades. 

An acclaimed social worker and programme coordinator with a strong commitment to address the basic needs of the disadvantaged youth and underprivileged communities, he possesses the elusive skills in building community support, key coalitions and strategic partnerships. 

A firm believer of professional management, he has solid credentials and equal strengths in programme, personnel and case management. He is respected for his involvement with the iconic institutions like the Institute of Business Administration (IBA) and Computer Society of Pakistan.

Pervez Iqbal has remained actively involved with the projects to empower the youth belonging to diverse segments of the society. 

He has volunteered for the Child Aid Association and Burns Centre, organizations dedicated to treat people belonging to the deprived communities absolutely free of cost. 

He has also been a long-serving member of the Pakistan-Japan Cultural Association, a non-profit organization committed to support the needy through various activities, and the Centre for Development of Social Services, an institution that provides social services in less-privileged areas. 

He’s one of the founding members of the Mind Sports Association of Pakistan, an organization committed to expand the mental faculties of individuals through promoting non-conventional sports.
